Print sale! I donated this image from my Dallas Masonic Temple series to Wall Space Gallery's effort in helping out Japan. Life Support Japan will support those affected by the earthquake and tsunamis that struck Japan earlier this month. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Direct Relief International and Habitat for Humanity Japan. All prints are selling in an edition of 10 for $50 (only 5 left of my image...) I bought Gordon Stettinius's hilarious self portrait titled "Comb Over" and I am looking forward to the upcoming announcement of Life Support Japan IV.

 I was blown away by the double page spread on my zine publications.

It is a truly valuable book & purchase for anyone interested in exploring the photography book world.

Last weekend I spent some time photographing teen entrepeneur, Josh Bostick, of Josh's Car Wash Service , as he washed a client's car in his hometown of Flower Mound for a story that ran yesterday in the Wall Street Journal. I always loved the daily assignments during my newspaper photographer days & love them just as much as a freelancer. The challenge of turning chicken shit into chicken salad (no offense, Josh, it's just an expression) is a great way to stay focused.

Last month I was assigned by F!D Luxe to photograph the unforgettable Derrill Osborn and his "Tuxedo Black" Ford F150. Derrill is a gentleman and a pleasure to photograph. The highlight was riding down Riverfront Blvd passenger side in his hefty Ford F150 listening to classical music.
It was one of those moments that I will forever treasure.

I love Eisley and have ever since I was assigned by the Dallas Morning News to photograph them at their home in Tyler, Texas in 2002. This was pre-first cd, pre-touring with Coldplay, pre-rockstars. I treasure that 24 hours that I spent with them at home in Tyler, Texas photographing their round the clock musical life. When I heard they were playing an instore at Good Records to promote their new record The Valley, I grabbed my camera and was once again in awe of their talent and sweet spirit.
