Holgraphers. September 2008. Fort Worth, Texas ©Allison V. Smith

I spent yesterday afternoon in the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens talking to high school photography teachers about photography (FUN!). Above a photo of Arts Magnet Photo teacher Cassie Edmondson and O'Donnell Foundation Deputy Director of AP Arts & Music Incentive Programs, aka trill Badass, Joel Thomason pose with their Holgas for an impromptu portrait with an wise old Texas tree.

No doubt that the left side of the picture is better than the right side.

I'd say the trillness is all around! Thanks again for asking me to help out yesterday! It was a real honor.

Allison-
While we have never met I can tell we'd be friends based on a few things:
1.Our shared joy of Joel Thomason
2.Your middle initial is apparently V, which is pretty great.
3.If you're a friend of the Sartorialist then you're a friend of mine.

When I photographed Cassie for F!D Luxe a while back, she had nothing but praise to say about you. She talked about how all her students were in love with you...
