Last year, Trikont, a German record label asked if they could use an image of mine for an upcoming compilation of mariachi music. For a usage fee and a sampling from their catalogue during , I agreed. The photo, seen above , was shot last October in Marfa Chinati weekend. I only shot one frame. I never wanted to forget that visual. Who would like my extra copy of the recently released cd Mariachi: the sound of hysteria & heartache?
