I spent the morning at SMU's DeGolyer Library looking through old photographs of my grandfather's to help put together a display on Stanley Marcus as a photographer. I was blown away when the curator of his archives showed me these scrapbooks he made when he was 31. These two pages were from a scrapbook dedicated to the Texas centennial, 1936. I especially love The Parade. I love the strip of marching band photos across the top of the page. Inspired!

I love this too, I wish people still took the time to do these kinds of hobbies... The layout and photos are so great, what a find!
